Health Testing..
When looking to add a new MBT companion
to your
family make sure you ask the right questions:
1. Do you health test your dogs?
2. Does the breeder follow a Code of Ethics..
3. Is the breeder a MBTCA Member
4. What testing have you done for the sire/dam?
5. Here is a list of the tests the parents should
have.
Echo Color Heart Doppler... not just an
Auscultation
UPC - Urinalysis
OFA PLL DNA Swab Test
Additional testing is optional
If your future breeder is telling you they have
tested the
sire/dam for the tests I have mentioned, they
should be
able to give you a copy of the health tests.
Make sure you ask for a copy!

page .. I would like you to be aware of health issues that could affect a
miniature bull terrier. It does not mean your puppy would be affected
with health problems but you do need to be knowledgeable about them.

3. Visit the MBTCA (minibull.org)
- Miniature Bull Terrier club of America / Parent club for our breed, here
you will find a wide variety of information about places to take your pet
for health testing, shows and general knowledge.
4. All person/s that
are interested in a Cambria puppy will be required to fill out a puppy
questionnaire/contract.
